INTRODUCING
MUSIC CITY FLY GIRLS Nashville's first monthly fly fishing get together for women. All women with an interest
in fly fishing, beginners to experienced anglers, are welcome to join us on the third Thursday of each month. The meetings
begin at 6:00 with an opportunity to network with women who love the outdoors. We discuss places to fish around Nashville,
basic fly fishing "need to know" facts, future events, and other fly fishing related topics. No previous experience
needed. Come and join us for a great time! We meet at Southern Bred Restaurant in East Nashville
(1048 E Trinity Lane) with social hour and dinner beginning at 6:00 and the program at 7:00.

August 19th Meeting-Fly Girls Closet
Hey Flygirls!! We have an exciting meeting planned this month. First off, you won't want to miss the
first ever "Fly Girls Closet". We will have a table set up with gently used fly fishing gear including waders,
boots, vests, fly boxes, etc... If you have an item that you would like to let go of, bring it. There will also be a
challenge made to all, for a portion of the proceeds go to Casting for Recovery. Five, Ten, Twenty percent, you decide!
Following this "bonanza" we'll discuss current fishing conditions on the Caney, flies to use, and put in points.
We'll also open the discussion about our annual Salt Lake- Middle Provo trip scheduled for late September. Hope to see you there!

Upcoming (September 30-October 3) Salt Lake- Middle Prove Trip Itinerary Thursday- We'll leave on the
6:40 am Southwest flight out of Nashville arriving in Salt Lake at 10:40. Our mini van will be waiting for us at the
terminal. It's a short one hour drive to our destination. We'll stop in route for lunch outside of Park City.
We'll also make a quick stopy by Trout Bum Fly Shop to pick up last minute supplies. From there will head to Heber City
and check into our hotel, the Swiss Alps Inn. We should be on the water fishing for western browns by 4:30.
The hotel is 5 minutes from the water. We'll fish for a few hours and then head to a great burger place on the way back
to the hotel. Friday: We will walk across
the street to a qaint little breakfast place before gearing up and heading to the river. We'll plan to fish a few hours
and then break for lunch and return to the hotel. The last two years we took naps For the die hards, we'll head
back to the river for late afternoon fishing. For others, there's an opportunity to site see. Saturday, we'll do it all again followed by shopping and dinner in Park City that evening. Sunday: We'll have a few hours to fish before heading to the hotel. Our return flight
back to Nashville leaves at 5:00 pm and we arrive back in Nashville at 10:30. Approximate cost is $550 with a minimum of 5 travelers to share the cost E-mail thrasher@southernbrookies.com
